Our editorial approach

KNOW BEFORE
YOU GO.

A CONSIDERED COLLECTION.

We cover competitive ultracycling and organized endurance adventures, classified by discipline and format rather than a fixed minimum distance. Our initial European collection is selective, not exhaustive. Absence from this directory says nothing about an event’s quality or whether it will happen.

FACTS BELONG TO AN EDITION.

Events have permanent pages; each yearly edition has its own dates, route details, and source. We preserve previous editions and never automatically carry dates, distances, or climbing into another year.

Confirmed means an official source states the edition and its start date. Tentative means the information remains provisional or sources conflict. Dates unannounced means no date is verified. Cancelled means the organizer has announced cancellation. Past edition identifies historical information. Start date passed means the start is in the past but a finish date is not yet known; it does not claim the event has finished.

VERIFIED DOESN’T MEAN IMMUTABLE.

Each listing shows when it was checked and links to its sources. Information older than six months is marked for rechecking. Registration status is tracked separately from edition confirmation. Unknown facts are labeled “Not verified,” never filled with estimates.

Check the organizer’s current rules, qualification requirements, insurance, travel arrangements, and exact start time before entering. Map pins are approximate start locations, not course maps.

COMMUNITY INPUT, EDITORIAL REVIEW.

Submissions and corrections enter a private review queue. We use official websites, organizer announcements, regulations, and manuals to check them. Suggestions never publish automatically. Events cannot pay for placement.
